.: --J-FLo  ""Sick Sick Em". "

Drop some history on who you are?

J-flo was born Jonathan Leo Sullivan on the boarder or IA and IL in the mini chi-town of the IA to later realized repressed in the state I lived in. Was moved in to my sisters to New York in a neighborhood in the burro of N. Bronx only to return to IA due to street life and trouble I had gotten into, but when I returned to IA I had picked up a lot of new tricks to the game along the way and got in even more trouble, so it was back to NY until my mom moved us to Minneapolis, MN in hopes of a better life “A new life”. Yah right since then I lived from garbage can to Cali to D-town to hell and back again. But I call Minnesota home…………………….

Who unify records is?

A record label built from scratch from the ground up. In detail J-Flo: Founder & CEO of Unify Record Inc. is the force behind U.R.I.
All songs and music are written, produced and performed by "J-Flo". He brings a powerful presence to the industry with raw energy that leaves you hanging on his every word, but can you make gasp and cover your teenage daughters ears at the same time.
Determined to get his word out to the world J-Flo, started Unify Records with only the financial resources he was able to gather from "street life" and the vision to build something based on love and loyalty that is real and brutally honest.
”Without a clue" but very focused, he began to take his talents to an organized level. With the positive and even negative energy he has seen and experienced, this was the life not only to be his career, but his destiny.

You just dropped a new album "Sick Sick'em" and Special Edition DVD "A Moment Wit Flo" what can be expected from the album and the DVD?

This CD/DVD is without a doubt an instant classic from front to back this phenomenon if you will, that turned out freakishly on point ”but with much sacrifice” I took it to a new standard of what can and cant be released. My album and albums of my fellow brotha’s in the Regime They knock from front to back. I even took it one step further and took technically 2 years on “Sick Sick’em” to not only make it right, but force all others to step it up, or give it up.
The DVD is good entertainment with daily life, studio, club ECT, show us shining like no other with Yukmouth, Tech N9ne, C-Bo, Dorasel, Killa Tay, Monster Gunjuh and more.
Yes the CD/DVD is a journey from front to back of my mans life, to preserve love -n- loyalty in a world that has lost there mother fuckin’ minds.
This is a phenomenon of great importance and has a lot of bitterness and anger towards society and the weak of heart, mind and soul. With in this disc hold a very powerful message that's not only just, but needs to be heard!
The album before you is not for the faint of heart, but for those ready to "face the truth", and the world as it is. Then the rest is up to you, the listener.........

What topics do you touch on throughout the album?

Life from A to Z on some no bullshit gimmicky the hook sell the song, but real life and day to day struggle anger and fears that I face in a fucked up world. It’s the truth of what we all face today and on brutal truth and love -n- loyalty for those who still represent the code.

What flavor is your Music (describe your music)?
Fuck you rap……….. I don’t censor anything I write. I keep it G to a T.

How did you get into the rap game?

Needed a way out of the dope game if I was to have longevity in my life and be successful and stay alive to enjoy it. There’s no way I could ever report to “The Man” and a 9 to 5 “shit just ant for me” so what was left “Unify Records Inc. You got C-Bo, Yukmouth, Tech N9NE, and Dorasel on the album, how did yawl hook up? Through many years in the game to where I made enough noise to catch the attention of so major leaguers and one thing lead to another and all the sudden Yukmouth and myself became solid and I brought the proposition to him and he was with it so here we are.

What’s it like working with them?

The way it should be, professionals doing what they do to perfection in harmony to perfect the product at hand. As a fan to I have to say it was quite amazing not only working with them but that’s whom I wanted on this album and got. I’m now an official member of The Regime and its truly an honor.

You have few West coast artist featured on your album, do you think Minnesota has more of a west coast influence here or a east coast influence?

I cant speak for Minnesota, I’m just statin’ my claim and west coast to me is the only coast “I used to live in New York to” Ask me this same question 15 years ago and hands down east coast, but those were pioneers of the game. “They don’t makem like that anymore”.So for me mid-west and the west cost are as one.

How can people get your music and or contact you? Cheapo, CD wherehouse, amazon.com and soon in Best Buy -n- Sam Goody first Part of “05.
