Yung Truth Born (Lenell Young) is originally from Chicago,Ill and at the tender age of 7 moved from the southside of Chicago to Minneapolis,MN. Yung Truth started spittin flows at age 6 and wow!When other kids in kindergarden would raise their hand and say they wanted to be a doctor or a lawyer, Truth wanted to spit and he knew what he liked and what he wanted become. Growing up in Chicago, his dad was a drug dealer and ran with a local street gang called ''Black p Stone'' so a lot of his influences come from his Dad, and the City of Chicago. As Truth got older he advanced with his verbal skills and just all around his rapping period.

HHC:Why do they call you Yung Truth?

YUNG:Well i've dropped about 3 nah mean first it was beat jackin vol.1 and dat was wit my niggas when i dropped dat but den i start doin my solo joints n shit called truth's diary's i got 3 volumes 2 it now and u can get vol.1 and 2 at new trendz i know u know where dat spot at so just tell da ppl...vol.3 we currently get da works for dat ri now

HHC:Do you think the mixtapes have created alot of buzz about you on the streetz?

HHC:When is your album droppin and what can people expect from it?

YUNG:mannnn dis shit is gone be for everybody!!!! i got a song for everybody man, i got sum shit for da niggas and chicks i got a track called ''mistakes'' da hardest nigga on da street gone feel dat song man. its about about teen pregnancy some lil shit i went through and i know every teenage nigga or young adult gone feel dis man...guarantee 2 make u cry man, foreal.

YUNG:well as of ri now we still pickin da song nah-mean, but we got like a good 17,18, and dey bangers, u know how usally when u hear a album and it only be a couple songs dat chu like?...well my shit aint like dat, it's fiya every track gone make u bob ya head and da crazy part about it, ya head aint gone get tired u gone keep bobbin yo shit lol

HHC:When you make a song do you get the beats first or write the lyrics first?
YUNG:Most of da time i listen 2 da beat first, so it can put me in dat creative mood u feel me?

YUNG:Well Young Mennace of course, i fucks wit young men all day. and basically i just fuk wit alotta young producers das my age nah-mean, just young teenage niggas das tryina come up in da game,and trust me man, deze cats got sum bangers!!!!!

HHC:Do you perform live if so where?
YUNG:Well i got a show saturday at escape, lately i been hibernatin cuz i been workin on my mixtape HARD! and just tryina up my verbal skills on niggas and go left field on niggas cuz everybody wanna go right... so i been writin a lot lately, but ima be out dere again man, i miss peformin

HHC:Who locally and nationally have you worked with?
YUNG:locally i've worked wit D-sota, he from St.Paul holdin it down, i really dont fuk wit alotta niggas locally cuz it seem like everybody goin da same pace...but ima let chu know dis ri now, i fucks wit chuck wooley,Fass Black, my nigga siya, fiction, its alotta cats out here i fuk wit and dont fuk wit, but i dont won't niggas 2 take it personal maybe i aint met alotta cats u know? but i hope 2 work wit alotta home grown talent in da future foreal...cuz we got talent here and i know its alotta hot niggas, hidin..lol

HHC:Do you think MN's style of Hip Hop has been defined by any artist yet?
YUNG:nah not really man...

HHC:What do you think of the Hip Hop Scene in MN?
YUNG:I think da hip hop movement icreases here but its more of a ''atmosphere'' fan base and das coo cuz dem cats doin dey thang and i respect dat, but its more of a lyrical type scene , i aint talkin bout like nas, more like...just bein lyrical and more battle rappin wit it u feel me?

HHC:Where do you think you fit in in the scene?
YUNG:I think i fit in da new generatin area. im 19, so im a young nigga so im settin my own trend u know? i fit in, but im da new generation u feel me?

HHC:Being new to the game what will you bring to the scene?
YUNG:Creativity,knowledge,bringin more realness back nah-mean, bringin dat real hip hop shit back.

HHC:Is being in the music industry anything like you though it would be, before you got in?
YUNG:well i aint in dere yet i mean ya boi got a foot in dere, but i aint all da way in yet, so i wouldnt know.

HHC:You work with New Trendz Entertainment How did you hook up with them?
YUNG:through my nigga reazon, he a local rapper out here in deze streets, i mean dis cat spits hot shit and wat sticks out about reason he's jewish u feel me, but yea das how i met da trendz, my boi reazon

HHC:Give us a little history on New Trendz Entertainment?
YUNG:well ya'll probly know Young Mennace he's been wit da label since it started and he's been holdin it down in da twin cities for a long time...i know ya'll waitin for dat next album 2 drop..cuz i am, my nigga gone be spittin vinum at deze niggas man...dat nigga taught me da game...now im sworn 2 it.

HHC:What has been the hardest hurdle in you music career so far?
YUNG:just gettin somebody 2 here a nigga, dat shits tuff man, but fuk it!! we gone make it!
